Qualifications

• Solid welding safety knowledge and adherence to shop protocols.
• Strong math skills for precise measurement and calculations in fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical aptitude for tooling maintenance.
• Ability to work in a team yet manage individual workload to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new welding technologies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in Carbon Arc Gouging and FCAW to execute precise metal cutting and preparation tasks.
• Interpret weld symbols accurately and read technical prints and blueprints.
• Operate rigging equipment and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Exhibit strong skills in fitting and layout operations to prepare components before welding.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances during inspection and setup.
• Analyze, update, and maintain detailed reports and records for data communication.
