Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Lab Technician in Naperville, Illinois for onsite work. The role supports scientists by performing routine lab operations, data entry, and sample handling within a controlled lab environment using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

The ideal candidate will have a biology or chemistry background and be able to follow ISO standard methods, with strong accuracy and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant field.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in time.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine lab operations to assist a team processing samples.
• Handle data entry of sample information.
• File and retrieve documents and reports.
• Respond to email and phone messages.
• Perform light lab tasks such as storing and disposing of samples.
• Filter and plate water samples according to ISO methods.
• Prepare supplies for routine testing.
• Restock lab supplies and perform cleaning.
• Receive samples and open packages.
