Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Lab Technician in Naperville, Illinois for onsite work. The role supports scientists by performing routine lab operations, data entry, and sample handling within a controlled lab environment using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
The ideal candidate will have a biology or chemistry background and be able to follow ISO standard methods, with strong accuracy and teamwork skills.
Location: Naperville, Illinois (Onsite)
The main function of this role is to perform a variety of routine laboratory operations to assist scientists in making qualitative and quantitative analyses of materials. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with teammates to complete interdependent tasks and take part in troubleshooting challenges when needed. All roles require logging and setup of samples, working in the laboratory to gather results, and recording the results consistently and accurately in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Education: A degree in biology, chemistry, or a relevant field is required.
Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in the time allowed.
