Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience in a laboratory, industrial, custodial, manufacturing, food-processing, or similarly structured work environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety protocols, and detailed instructions.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, or handling laboratory glassware.
• Ability to use simple measuring, monitoring, or recording tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required checklists.
• Ability to work independently after required training.
• Ability to communicate problems, unsafe conditions, and unusual findings promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lab media, solutions, reagents, and standards.
• Sterilize materials and operate autoclaves.
• Assist with sample preparation and handling.
• Wash glassware and maintain clean work areas.
• Collect and dispose of laboratory waste following safety procedures.
• Maintain safety records and monitor temperature and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality procedures.
