Job summary

KMRG, LLC is hiring a Laboratory Support Technician to provide onsite laboratory support for the FDA Kansas facility. Responsibilities include media preparation, sterilization, sample prep, glassware washing, waste handling, and maintaining a clean, compliant lab environment.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, attention to safety, and the ability to follow procedures with care. Work is full-time, Monday–Friday, at the Lenexa site with strict laboratory protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: at least 6 months in a laboratory, industrial, custodial, manufacturing, food-processing, or similarly structured work environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety protocols, and detailed instructions.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, or handling laboratory glassware.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required checklists.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, solutions, reagents, and standards; adjust pH as needed.
• Sterilize materials and manage autoclave operations in line with SOPs.
• Assist with aseptic and non-aseptic sample preparation and handling.
• Wash glassware and manage laboratory equipment and waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory spaces; document safety checks.
