Job summary

KMRG, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician to provide onsite laboratory support for the U.S. FDA Arkansas laboratory.

Responsibilities include media preparation, sterilization, sample handling, glassware washing, waste disposal, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a structured lab setting. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months of relevant experience, with strict adherence to procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of laboratory, industrial, custodial, manufacturing, or food-processing experience.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety protocols.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, or handling laboratory glassware.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required checklists.
• Ability to work independently after training.
• Ability to communicate problems or unsafe conditions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, solutions, reagents and standards.
• Sterilize materials and operate autoclaves as directed.
• Assist with aseptic and non-aseptic sample preparation.
• Wash glassware and maintain lab equipment and supplies.
• Collect and dispose of laboratory waste following procedures.
• Support cleanliness and safety in the lab environment.
• Document temperature mapping and equipment monitoring as required.
