Job summary

Precision Analytical is seeking a Chemist I: Extraction Team in McMinnville, OR to perform high-quality analytical methods in a progressive laboratory. You will support lab analysis through routine sample testing and basic troubleshooting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science and hands-on experience with lab equipment, software, and safety protocols. Onsite work, career progression, and competitive, market-based pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in a Laboratory Science and science coursework as specified.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and lab-specific systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical methods on patient samples (urine and saliva) using UV-vis spectrophotometry and extractions.
• Prepare reagents or solutions used in testing.
• Keep accurate, neat, and detailed records.
• Gain understanding of the process and demonstrate curiosity.
• Navigate a laboratory and use specialized equipment and software.
• Observe equipment for abnormalities and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Multitask and coordinate multiple assignments with accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow laboratory methods, SOPs, and company policies.
• Communicate quality issues or findings to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Perform basic office tasks (organizing, filing, emails).
