Precision Analytical Inc. in McMinnville, OR is seeking a Chemist I for the Extraction Team to perform high quality analytical methods on patient samples and support lab analysis.

The role offers on-site work, career progression, and a friendly, quality-driven environment. Ideal candidates have a lab science degree, strong attention to detail, teamwork, and willingness to learn, with a start date in November.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree with 24 hours of science, 12 chemistry, 6 biology, 6 other science
• Computer technology experience; learn systems quickly (Office + lab systems)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills; effective communication
• Dependable and punctual; able to work flexible hours
• Positive teamwork-oriented attitude; champion for people and brand

Responsabilidades

• Perform analytical methods on patient samples (urine and saliva) using UV-vis spectrophotometry, extractions, hydrolysis and derivatization
• Prepare reagents or solutions used in testing
• Keep accurate, neat, and detailed records
• Gain understanding of the process and demonstrate curiosity
• Navigate a lab and use specialized equipment and software
• Observe equipment and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance
• Multitask and coordinate multiple assignments with accuracy
• Follow laboratory methods, SOPs and company policies
• Communicate quality issues or findings to supervisor
• Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements
• Perform basic office tasks (organizing, filing, emails)
• Demonstrate PA’s Core Values in daily activities
• Collaboratively perform other duties to support company goals
