Job summary

Smart Tech Skills LLC is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator in Pompano Beach, FL to support daily operations, patching, backups, and administration of server infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, and a drive to grow into a senior infrastructure role within a enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical institute degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Technical Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Junior Systems Administration.
• Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments.
• Experience using service desk and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
• Basic networking and systems administration knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of Windows server and infrastructure environments.
• Configure, maintain, and support virtual servers in VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.
• Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Monitor server, storage, and network health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
• Travel to remote locations as needed for equipment deployment and support.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support rotations.
