Job summary

CFS in Orlando, FL is seeking a Junior Property Accountant to join a nationally recognized hospitality organization. This role provides hands-on experience with lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, landlord relations, and financial reporting, with a clear path for professional growth on a large nationwide portfolio.

You will process landlord payments, reconcile charges, prepare journal entries, and support month-end close.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent accounting experience considered
2–3+ years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, invoice processing, journal entries, or general ledger support
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and data analysis
Oracle or similar ERP experience preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Process monthly landlord payments and ensure lease obligations are paid accurately and on time
Review and reconcile charges, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions.
Communicate with landlords and internal departments regarding payments, lease terms, account balances, and related inquiries.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end adjustments to support accurate financial reporting.
Maintain lease documentation and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Assist with special projects related to lease and property accounting activities
