We are recruiting an Accounting Associate for a growing company in Orlando. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who enjoys working with property financials and wants to develop broader accounting skills.

Experience supporting accounting for a property management or real estate company is required.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with the accounting team to keep property financial records accurate, organized, and ready for reporting. Responsibilities include:

• Support monthly close activities and prepare property financial reports.

• Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and expense adjustments.

• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances, researching and resolving differences.

• Review property income and expenses for accuracy and proper coding.

• Assist with transactions between related entities and account reconciliations.

• Help prepare budgets and investigate differences between actual and budgeted results.

• Use Yardi and Excel to maintain records, review data, and support reporting.

• Gather documentation for audits and help maintain consistent accounting procedures.

• Coordinate with property teams and outside accounting partners to resolve questions.

What We’re Looking For

• Approximately 1 to 2 years of accounting experience within property management or real estate.

• Hands-on experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.

• Working knowledge of Yardi.

• A solid understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting.

• Strong Excel skills and comfort learning accounting systems.

• Attention to detail, good follow-through, and the ability to manage deadlines.

• A collaborative approach and confidence asking questions and communicating with others.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred.
