Pasona Inc. in Steele, AL is seeking an Interpreter/Translator to provide high-quality Japanese-English interpretation for meetings, production-floor communications, and documentation.

Professional Japanese and English proficiency in business and technical contexts is required, along with the ability to support expatriate staff with administrative tasks. This is an onsite role with possible overtime and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in business, technical, and production interpretation and translation (Japanese & English).
• Associate degree required; 2+ years interpretation/translation experience preferred.
• Able to translate confidential materials and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide simultaneous, consecutive, and whispering interpretation.
• Interpret meetings, conference calls, and production-floor communications.
• Translate technical documents, emails, and confidential materials between Japanese and English.
• Prepare and translate monthly reports for Japan-based leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.
