Kemco Facilities Services in Montgomery, AL is seeking a dependable Janitorial / Custodial Team Member for a full-time daytime role, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch. The position emphasizes pride in a clean, professional environment and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, restocking supplies, and sanitizing restrooms while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Background screening required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily.
• Dust and wipe surfaces.
• Clean desks, counters, blinds, and other areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Maintain common areas and workspaces.
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies.
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance or facility concerns when identified.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties thoroughly and on schedule.
