Zusammenfassung

ICL Group is seeking an Onsite IT Technician to deliver customer-focused IT support for local users at our Lawrence, KS plant. You will collaborate with NA Server, Cyber and Network Teams and report to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

Responsibilities include planning and operating Windows and Linux servers, managing SharePoint/Lync/RDS, VMware environments, and supporting 1st/2nd line requests while aligning with ITIL practices.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in IT operations.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with VMware systems, configuration and staging.
• Service ticketing system experience.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and security architectures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Client/Server OS and applications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Customer-focused orientation and service mindset.
• Ability to plan, manage projects and solve problems.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and handle multiple tasks.

Aufgaben

• Conception and optimization of the local server, storage, client and network environment.
• Plan, install, operate and maintain Windows and Linux/Unix server systems.
• Administer local file/print services, Lync Enterprise and SharePoint 2010; RDS.
• Collaborate with Global IT Infrastructure and service provider teams.
• Monitor servers, network and security systems.
• Manage VMware environments and storage.
• Improve the working environment for mobile users.
• Handle 1st and 2nd line service requests and troubleshooting.
• Develop concepts and IT architecture per ICL strategy.
• Follow Change Management processes and document implementations.
• Support Global Help Desk and Training with user manuals.
