Job summary

LoadUp Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to own day-to-day technology for employees at our Alpharetta, GA office. This onsite role covers end-user computing, office networking and connectivity, and security controls protecting company data.

Reporting to the CTO, you will be the primary internal IT contact, building reliable, secure tech practices as LoadUp scales. It's a hands-on opportunity to own the full tech stack for a fast-growing ecommerce-focused company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on IT support or systems administration, primary tech resource for 50+ employees
• Strong macOS and Google Workspace support
• Networking knowledge: DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, wireless troubleshooting
• Experience with security controls including MFA, SSO, patching, disk encryption, and backup
• Ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical employees
• Experience supporting an ecommerce business where downtime impacts revenue

Responsibilities

• End-User Support & Device Management: build, deploy, maintain, repair laptops/desktops, OS, apps
• Onboarding/offboarding: hardware, accounts, access
• Configure new applications and support conferencing equipment
• Maintain office network: switches, firewalls, APs, VLANs, cabling
• Monitor network performance: uptime, latency, bandwidth
• Manage endpoint security: enrollment, encryption, antivirus, patching
• Security controls: phishing/spam filtering, domain authentication
• Security awareness training and phishing simulations
• Vendor & budget input: IT vendors, hardware, ISPs, software subscriptions
