The Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to provide hands-on desktop and systems support for staff across locations. You will manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and core business applications, delivering practical, user-friendly IT services.

Based onsite, Monday–Friday, you’ll collaborate with a small IT team, learn new systems quickly, and help maintain secure, reliable technology that supports the Food Bank's mission. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least two years of experience in IT support or desktop support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working with both hardware and software.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and patiently to staff at all levels.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and common office software.
• Willingness and ability to learn multiple new systems quickly.

Responsabilités

• Desktop and End-User Support: Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support, troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, phones, network access, and Microsoft 365.
• Go to staff desks, warehouse areas, and other locations to work directly on problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with staff from first report through resolution.
• Perform workstation setup, upgrades, and basic maintenance.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend practical fixes.
