Job summary

Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, is seeking an onsite Systems Administrator in San Francisco to maintain IT infrastructure, monitor systems, and escalate complex issues. You will support AD/Exchange, conferencing systems, backups, and security while ensuring smooth operations for attorneys and staff.

The role reports to the IT Manager and Sr. Systems Administrator, with responsibilities spanning user support, server services, and proactive system monitoring to uphold high availability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing direct support for a Windows-based environment in a Help Desk or higher position.
• 1+ years of recent experience in a law firm.
• Demonstrated understanding of Windows and Mac OS, including related hardware.
• Demonstrated proficiency in supporting Microsoft Office 365.
• Direct support of HP, Lexmark, and Canon peripherals.
• Direct support of Poly desk and conference phones.
• Direct support of Poly videoconferencing and Zoom/Microsoft Teams videoconferencing.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level response per guidelines and timelines, including after-hours as needed.
• Escalate and assist during and after business hours.
• Use Help Desk software to track user issues from escalation to resolution.
• Maintain and monitor the firm’s production IT environment.
• Support server hardware, software, backups, and related services.
• Assist with Active Directory, Exchange mail flow, and related services.
• Support Citrix XenDesktop, VMware, and application servers as required.
