Velocity Network, Inc. is seeking an Onsite IT Support Specialist to join our team in Erie, PA.

This role provides network-level onsite and remote technical support across multiple platforms to ensure reliability and performance of client technology environments. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of IT support experience (MSP or IT field services preferred), training or certifications in IT, and strong Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years IT support experience required; MSP or IT field services preferred.
• Specialized training or technical certification in Information Technology.
• Working knowledge of network infrastructure concepts and server virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and resolve Tier 1 and 2 client issues (hardware, software, email, MS 365).
• Perform onsite client visits, including installations, maintenance, and incident response.
• Diagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
• Configure and maintain client networks for reliable connectivity and operations.
• Support servers and infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization).
• Maintain documentation of configurations, activities, and resolutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients about issues and status.
• Escalate complex issues when needed and participate in on-call rotations.
