Job summary

Grapevine MSP, LLC is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Technician to deliver hands-on IT support at client sites around Visalia, CA. You will troubleshoot laptops, printers, accounts, and more, working in a fast-paced MSP environment.

You’ll communicate clearly, diagnose issues, and stay calm under pressure while ensuring clients can return to work quickly. The role suits those who enjoy moving between locations and learning how different businesses use technology daily.

Qualifications

• At least a year of real IT support experience or solid formal training.
• Comfortable working in Windows environments and diagnosing everyday desktop issues.
• Basic understanding of networking and Active Directory.
• Able to explain technical problems to non-technical people.
• Self-sufficient to work alone at a client location, but know when to ask for help.

Responsibilities

• Show up on-site and get systems working again—hardware, software, connectivity, and peripherals.
• Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Handle basic user account work in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Document what you fixed and how you fixed it for future reference.
• Escalate tougher issues with enough detail for higher-tier techs to pick up.
• Follow security practices and keep client environments tidy while onsite.
