Job summary

Maher Terminals LLC is seeking an onsite IT support technician to resolve desktop, printer, and handheld device issues in a 24x7 terminal environment. You will help deploy Windows 11 across the enterprise, troubleshoot gate complex hardware, OCR, RFID, and related systems, and provide end-user assistance with professional, timely service.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, outdoor work in all weather, and on-call hours including holidays. Prior experience in service desk environments is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of troubleshooting and setup in a Windows desktop environment.
• Experience supporting desktops, printers, and network equipment (wired and wireless).
• Familiarity with Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Experience with OS imaging to rollout Windows 11 enterprise-wide.
• Knowledge of OCR, RFID, gate systems, and related hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log all support requests via email, phone, and in-person into the service desk system.
• Provide timely desktop support for user incidents and requests.
• Support rollout of Windows 11 enterprise-wide using imaging tools.
• Troubleshoot IT hardware, software, and gate complex systems (OCR, RFID, interfaces).
• Support radio data terminals and equipment used by Operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on gate complex equipment.
