Job summary

Applied Innovation is seeking an Intermediate IT Support Specialist to join our IT Service team. This on-site role provides 70% Tier 1 and 30% Tier 2 support, with potential growth into a full Tier 2 position as skills develop.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills. It includes an on-site schedule, with on-call rotation after training. Prior MSP experience is a plus as is familiarity with Cisco Meraki and ConnectWise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 2-year degree or IT certifications preferred.
• Experience in IT support/help desk or client-facing environments is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• MSP experience is advantageous.
• Certifications can substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot workstation OS (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) and Office applications (Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Configure and support on-premises Exchange environments and basic Active Directory administration.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues; support cloud-based VoIP systems.
• Install, configure, and support customer IT environments with onsite work as needed.
