Job summary

Military, Veterans and Diverse Job Seekers is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to handle 1st line IT support, onboarding new users, and maintaining the user environment. The role requires daily onsite work at our Jupiter office within a standard 40-hour week, supporting hardware, software, and security compliance across teams.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, deploying images, creating SOPs, and coordinating with vendors for major issues.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with 1st line technical support and managing user requests.
Experience managing new user setup from procurement through onboarding and training.
High level of analytical thinking to solve problems.
High level of communication to all levels of business.

Responsibilities

Answer inquiries via phone, email, tickets or in person and resolve issues per SLA.
Set up equipment for employee use and install/configure OS and software.
Install and repair hardware/software per specifications and maintain images for deployment.
Create SOPs for processes to maintain the user environment, including laptop builds and user creation.
Work with IT team to ensure security and audit requirements are met.
Refer major issues to vendors or technicians for service.
Develop training materials or train users on hardware/software usage.
Log incidents in the Helpdesk system with accurate details and categories.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software; procure IT equipment as needed.
Communicate effectively with trading, research, management, development, and operations teams.
