Job summary

AVASO Technology Solutions in Covington, TN seeks an onsite IT Support contractor to be the site’s primary IT contact. You’ll handle desktop and laptop support, asset management, onboarding/offboarding, and coordinate with the backend team for network and server issues.

You’ll work with Office 365, SharePoint, VPN, and Windows 10, resolve MS Office problems, and use ServiceNow for ticketing. Strong communication, prioritization, and SLA adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in IT support in a corporate environment.
• Proficient with Windows 7/10 and remote access.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft server technologies.
• Familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint, DHCP, and DNS.
• Strong self-discipline and workload prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support as onsite point of contact for IT.
• End-user desktop and laptop support with network/server hands-on.
• Install and configure software on end-user systems and servers.
• Onboard new users and offboard departing users; manage assets.
• Coordinate with backend team for network and server issues.
• Manage tickets in ServiceNow and troubleshoot VPN.
• VIP support and asset management; vendor coordination.
