Job summary

Weld County is seeking an IT Technical Support Center Analyst to provide high-quality onsite technical support, onboarding/offboarding, device management, and issue escalation oversight. The role requires daily face-to-face interaction, strong communication, and decision-making to ensure timely, accurate resolutions and continuous improvement of IT customer service delivery.

The position covers 75% hands-on technical support and 25% project work, including cybersecurity initiatives and training

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years Technical Support/Help Desk required.
1 year Technical Support / Call Center / Desktop Support experience required.
Proficient with Windows, Office 365, and common end-user applications.

Responsibilities

Provide daily onsite end-user support and issue resolution.
Perform analysis, diagnose, and resolve complex problems; deskside repair as needed.
Receive and respond to calls, emails, and walk-in requests.
Follow established procedures for prioritizing and resolving requests.
Install, configure, test, and maintain end-user workstations and hardware.
Escalate to SMEs as needed and document resolutions in knowledgebase.
Contribute to asset management changes in the inventory system.
Support ongoing projects and cybersecurity initiatives.
