Job summary

Legence in the United States is seeking a Temporary IT Support Specialist based in the San Jose region to provide first‑line IT support for all staff, logging incidents, and ensuring service levels are met. You will work onsite at multiple offices, assist with printers, PCs, and mobile devices, coordinate with vendors, maintain asset records, and help keep systems running smoothly in a dynamic environment.

The assignment lasts 3–6 months with a possible conversion to full‑time; strong

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience within the information technology field, including PC and mobile device support.
• Experience with Dell hardware, AD/Azure, O365, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Be the onsite IT presence, providing prompt, courteous support.
• Collaborate with vendors and in-house staff to minimize downtime.
• Support printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Maintain and troubleshoot approximately 2000 devices including servers and laptops.
• Record and manage incidents in the Service Desk system (ServiceNow).
• Configure new IT equipment and manage asset lifecycle.
