Job summary

Manifest OS is hiring an onsite IT & Security Operations Specialist to own internal IT operations and security defense. You’ll onboard teammates securely, manage access, and triage threats, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You’ll partner with Engineering and leadership to keep systems reliable and identity layer secure.

You will administer Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion, and Linear, and shape incident response and security controls from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience.
• Hands-on IT operations, endpoint management, and IAM workflows.
• Proven ability to triage security alerts and distinguish false positives.
• Experience administering Google Workspace and similar SaaS tools.
• Familiarity with phishing investigation and email security tools.
• Ability to contain incidents: disabling accounts, isolating endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding and offboarding: accounts, MFA, device setup, access removal.
• Administer core tools: Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Notion, Linear.
• Manage IAM with least-privilege access and role-based permissions.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle from ordering to secure disposal.
• Triages security alerts from email protection, EDR, and SaaS logs.
• Lead phishing response: analyze emails, contain threats, inform users.
• Deploy and maintain VPN and Zero Trust solutions.
