Job summary

Diversified Services Network is seeking a full-time IT Release Manager to coordinate software releases across multiple teams at our onsite locations in Irving, TX, Peoria, IL, or Nashville, TN. This role requires experience in release governance, security and change management, and cross-functional collaboration with development, cybersecurity, QA, and operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in IT release management, holds relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CSM, etc.), and can manage

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in IT release management.
• Certifications such as ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Practitioner: Release Management, PMP, CAPM, CSM.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar, tracking deployments, milestones, and cross-team dependencies.
• Gather, refine, and document business requirements with stakeholders, translating needs into actionable requirements.
• Participate in stand-ups to surface blockers and drive release activities to resolution.
• Validate release readiness against security, testing, change-management, and CAB approvals.
• Confirm deployment, rollback, contingency, and communication plans before each release.
• Oversee release execution against the schedule, maintaining visibility into deployment progress.
• Coordinate decisions to delay, stop, or roll back a release and escalate issues as needed.
• Deliver concise leadership updates on release status, risks, decisions, and schedule impacts.
• Confirm release completion and facilitate post-release reviews and retrospectives.
• Track recurring release issues and lead improvements to schedules, checklists, governance, and handoffs.
