Job summary

Volarify is seeking an IT Project Manager / Owner's Representative for a major healthcare capital construction project in the greater Minneapolis area. This 16‑month, fully onsite contract role requires independent judgment, strong technical leadership in Low Voltage and systems integration, and collaboration with GC, subcontractors, and the Owner's team.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands‑on experience in Low Voltage systems, structured cabling, technology integration, or related trades.
Experience on healthcare, hospital, or complex institutional construction projects is strongly preferred.
Background in Owner's Representative, construction consulting, project management, or field advisory capacity.

Responsibilities

Observe Low Voltage and technology‑related construction activities with minimal disruption.
Monitor cabling, pathways, devices, clinical technologies, and systems integration work.
Identify failures, coordination gaps, process inefficiencies, sequencing issues, and quality concerns.
Provide recommendations on risk mitigation, process improvements, and execution strategies.
Review schedules to identify critical path impacts related to Low Voltage work.
Perform CD reviews and Gantt schedule analyses.
Maintain field notes, photographs, issue logs, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with Owner, GC, subcontractors, and remote teams for clear communication.
