Job summary

Open Systems Inc. is seeking a hands-on Low Voltage Project Coordinator/Manager for an onsite role in Minneapolis, MN. This contract-to-hire position leads on-site deployments from cabling to go-live and serves as the face of the team with clients.

You will manage multiple concurrent projects, perform Cat6A and fiber cabling work, and ensure compliance with standards and codes while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure in commercial/campus/data center environments.
• Experience terminating and testing Cat6A and fiber cabling to standards.
• Ability to manage onsite client relationships and coordinate multiple projects.
• Must be able to travel daily to client sites across Minneapolis metro.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, managing relationships and stakeholder expectations during installations and relocations.
• Lead multiple concurrent low-voltage projects by coordinating schedules, site readiness, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Perform hands-on installation, termination, testing, and certification of Cat6A and fiber cabling to standards.
• Review plans, conduct site surveys, develop estimates and bids, and support network infrastructure installations and upgrades.
• Monitor progress, document issues, manage punch lists, and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot cabling issues and support cutovers to ensure successful project completion.
