Job summary

The position requires familiarity with hardware/software troubleshooting, Microsoft Office, and punctuality for scheduled hours.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and standard office technologies.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
• Willingness to provide consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Promptness and reliability to follow scheduled hours.
• Willingness to protect the integrity of Liberty’s IT systems and follow security policies.
• Must be able to obtain job specific certifications including vendor certifications and CompTIA ITF+ or A+.
• Ability to obtain LU-approved driver certification with valid license and five years driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user computer support and resolve technical issues.
• Document and audit workflow and repair processes; escalate when needed.
• Follow internal helpdesk standards and knowledge base articles.
• Diagnose hardware/software problems and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with other IT departments to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Document work and customer interactions in the help request system.
