Würth Elektronik Group in Watertown, SD seeks an IT Field Service Support to act as the first contact for end users, maintaining IT hardware, software, printers, and network equipment across a distribution center and office environment.

You will support global Würth divisions, configure and maintain IT assets, assist onboarding, and ensure SLA adherence. Expect on‑site work, occasional travel, and after‑hours on‑call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in computer science or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
2+ years hardware troubleshooting and help desk support experience.
Understanding of LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, firewalls, routers, and switches.
A+ and ITIL certifications preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and occasional travel.
Experience with MDM such as Intune, XenMobile, ManageEngine or similar.
Solid knowledge of operating systems, Office apps, AD, networking, mobiles, printers.

Responsabilités

Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking IT help.
Provide in‑person and remote support, and manage tickets through the ticketing system.
Configure, install, and maintain computer systems, hardware, and software.
Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VOIP, VPN, CRM, Citrix, printers and related tech.
Assist onboarding of new employees with accounts, hardware, and access provisioning.
Escalate issues per SLAs and document steps and time spent.
Train end users when requested and maintain knowledge base articles.
Travel to company locations and work on‑site as needed; on‑call rotations included.
