Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Field Services Support professional to deliver on-site end-user support across client locations. The role handles IMAC, incidents, and infrastructure project support, with travel between sites as required.

A strong ITIL/ITSM background and experience with tools like ServiceDesk Plus or ServiceNow are essential. This full-time onsite position requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work after-hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or higher in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 0-2 years in IT end-user/field services support.
• ITIL knowledge: incident, request, change, problem and asset management.
• Hands-on with ITSM tools: ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow or BMC Remedy/Helix.
• Strong Windows and MacOS endpoints, M365, AD/Entra ID, Okta, CrowdStrike, Webex, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM, ManageEngine, Intune or JAMF; USB imaging.
• Ability to manage priorities, SLAs and escalations; strong communication.
• Valid driver’s license; travel between sites; lift up to 50 lbs; after-hours support.
• Government/healthcare or regulated environments experience is a plus.
• Certifications listed (ITIL v4 Foundation, CompTIA A+, MD-102, ServiceNow) are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ITSM queues; balance and re-prioritize work based on impact, urgency and SLA.
• Coordinate VIP/executive support, critical incidents and site outages.
• Own IMAC fulfillment and device provisioning, including setting up computers and peripherals.
• Image computers and oversee device refresh and redeployment.
• Log and resolve issues via ServiceDesk Plus; handle password resets and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Coordinate warranty repairs and manage spare-parts inventory.
• Manage assets using AD, SCCM, ManageEngine, CrowdStrike and Okta; ensure CMDB accuracy.
• Plan onsite support for infrastructure projects and report milestones.
• Adhere to ITIL processes, security policies, and change management.
