Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time IT Co-Op Student to support the Information Technology Department in delivering IT services to employees. You will diagnose and resolve nonrecurring software and OS problems, configure and troubleshoot workstations and mobile devices, and assist with hardware and software deployments as directed.

Responsibilities include supporting inventories, managing software licenses, and contributing to infrastructure projects including networking

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior or senior with GPA 3.5+.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to employees and diagnose nonrecurring problems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to application software and operating systems; classify priority.
• Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software as instructed.
• Maintain inventory of software, manage licensing, and create upgrade policies.
