Job summary

The ADA Forsyth Institute in Somerville, MA is seeking an experienced IT & Cloud Administrator to lead administration and optimization of our IT infrastructure and cloud environment. You will manage Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Windows endpoints, and related platforms to ensure secure, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include system monitoring, cybersecurity hardening, backups, disaster recovery, vendor coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in IT.
5+ years of progressive IT infrastructure, systems, and cloud experience.
Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Windows, and Active Directory.
Networking, firewalls, VPNs, virtualization, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery gear.
Cybersecurity fundamentals: endpoint security, IAM, vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Administer Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related cloud services.
Manage Windows endpoints, servers, deployments, patching, and device lifecycle.
Monitor network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity (FortiGate).
Implement cybersecurity controls, MFA (Duo), endpoint protection, and access management.
Maintain backups, DR solutions, and participate in migrations and modernization.
