Job summary

ADA Forsyth Institute, INC is seeking an experienced IT & Cloud Administrator in Somerville, MA to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure and cloud environment. This hands-on role covers Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Windows endpoints, servers, networking, and security across multiple platforms.

You will work with internal teams, MSPs, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, perform migrations, and implement disaster recovery and cybersecurity best practices. Onsite presence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in IT/CS with hands-on IT infra and cloud experience.
• 5+ years supporting IT infrastructure, systems, and cloud tech.
• Strong experience with M365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Windows, and AD.

Responsibilities

• Administer M365, Azure/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Manage Windows endpoints, servers, deployments, patching, lifecycle.
• Monitor network, firewalls, VPNs, FortiGate, and connectivity.
• Implement cybersecurity controls including MFA, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Lead backups, DR solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
• Maintain IAM practices and RBAC, and document configurations.
• Coordinate actions with staff, MSPs, vendors, and partners.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and procedures.
• Assist with budgeting, procurement, and licensing planning.
• Provide escalation support for complex incidents across IT domains.
• Develop and enforce IT standards, security practices, and testing.
• Contribute to business continuity, DR, and incident response planning.
• Evaluate new tech and recommend security, reliability improvements.
• Support AV and conference room tech, ensuring reliability.
