Job summary

Abbott in Columbus, OH is seeking an Inventory Systems Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy across multiple systems and support seamless operations in the plant or distribution center. You will monitor inventory systems, manage user access within the Warehouse Management System, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with site teams to generate monthly reports and maintain compliance.

This role requires on-site work at one of Abbott’s locations in Columbus, Tipp City, Sturgis, Altavista,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus interpersonal abilities.
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure inventory accuracy across multiple systems to support operations.
Monitor and maintain the functionality of inventory systems to improve efficiency.
Manage user access and connectivity within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with site teams to address inventory inquiries and requests.
Develop and review monthly inventory reports to identify trends.
Contribute to system procedures and validation/change management processes.
Support inventory audits at multiple sites to ensure accuracy and compliance.
