TekWissen® Group is seeking an Inventory Control & Shipping Specialist in Bohemia, NY. This onsite, 3-month temporary role supports inventory management, warehouse operations, and product distribution in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will handle receiving, tracking, inspecting, storing, and distributing materials, using ERP/shipping platforms, while adhering to SOPs and GMP standards. Strong organization and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Computer literacy and ability to work with inventory management systems, shipping software, and tracking tools.
• Familiarity with receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, shipping, and distribution processes.
• Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar shipping platforms preferred.
• Understanding of FIFO inventory practices and accurate inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and warehouse safety requirements.
• Ability to enter and maintain inventory, product, and shipping records accurately.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate release, tracking, packaging, and shipping of products using inventory systems and shipping platforms.
• Receive, verify, and process internally manufactured goods according to SOPs.
• Track and receive materials from external vendors and clients using inventory software.
• Issue finished materials to In-Process Inspection for final checks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and apply FIFO practices.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workload to meet deadlines.
• Enter product and shipment data into computerized systems.
• Prepare shipments according to customer specifications.
• Verify IDs, labels, quantities, and return of labels to inventory.
• Dispose of expired label inventory per procedures.
• Package products and labels securely to prevent damage.
• Maintain adequate shipping supplies and warehouse equipment.
• Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, scales, and other equipment.
• Transport materials between warehouse locations as needed.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
• Communicate progress, changes, discrepancies to leadership.
• Suggest process improvements and help maintain SOPs.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, and safety procedures including shoes.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
