Job summary

Indotronix is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Bohemia, NY for a 3-month assignment. The role focuses on research, tracking, and execution of product release and shipping using multiple systems and SOP-driven processes.

The candidate will manage receipts, track materials from vendors, apply FIFO, enter shipment data accurately, and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Overtime and weekend shifts are required, with lifting up to 30 lbs and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Research, track, and execute release and shipping of products using inventory management systems and scheduling tools.
• Manages and verifies receipt of in-house manufactured goods and processes requests per SOPs.
• Tracks and receives materials from external vendors and clients via inventory management system.
• Receives and issues finished materials to the In Process Inspection Department for final inspection.
• Uses First In/First Out (FIFO) to issue materials to internal departments.
• Prioritizes and adjusts to meet daily inventory management tasks.
• Communicates work status and schedule changes to leadership; escalates issues as needed.
• Manages workload to meet timelines and implement cost-effective processes.
• Enters product and shipment data accurately and tailors shipping per customer requirements.
• Destroys expired label inventory per procedures and timelines.
• Collaborates with cross-functional managers and supervisors to meet goals.
• Multitasks under tight timelines with minimal errors.
• Accounts for all inventory and ensures proper label IDs and returns to inventory.
• Develops and maintains procedures; recommends process improvements.
• Maintains and orders shipping supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Packs labels into boxes to prevent damage during transit.
• Performs light to moderate lifting of boxes; typical average 20–30 lbs.
• Safely operates forklift, hand trucks, scales, and related equipment.
• Transports materials to/from the warehouse using company vehicles.
• Keeps work areas orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Performs activities safely and wears safety shoes; follows Good Manufacturing Principles.
• Supports company vision and may take on other duties as needed.
• Available for overtime including weekends.
