Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Inventory & Materials Handler to execute day-to-day inventory and material management at our Toledo client site. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, logging inventory, proper storage, and timely distribution of inbound and outbound materials to end users.

The role emphasizes workflow adherence, safety, and collaboration with teams to ensure quality and service levels. Requires 1 year in the chemical sector, MS Office 365 skills, and basic SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Professional training or basic degree in Chemistry or Laboratory Technology (2 years) or equivalent by experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in the chemical sector.
• MS Office 365 proficiency; experience with databases (e.g., SAP).
• English level B1 (Intermediate).

Responsibilities

• Create a seamless user experience for assigned area, acting as the single contact for tasks.
• Ensure coverage of client needs across warehousing and inventory.
• Manage warehouse operations, reagents, shipments, and stock.
• Support environmental, purchasing, and lab tasks as required.
