Cardinal Health in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Inventory Management professional for on-site duties at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role combines data analysis with physical inventory oversight across multiple stock sites.

Requirements include a bachelor degree or equivalent, 3–5 years in inventory management or related healthcare roles, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent communication is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in inventory management, project management, supply technician, or data and administration in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory for stock sites.
• Work with authorized government representatives to compose the order.
• You may never create the order.
• Obtain Government authorization for the order.
• An Authorized Government Representative (AGR) will be available at each stock site.
• Provide notification on materiel not available to the stock site, within two hours of order authorization.
• Deliver and restock materiel to the stock sites within 24 hours of order receipt (on business days).
• Provide priced packing lists to the COR or AGR prior to restocking.
• Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks.
• Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity.
• Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes actions to resolve.
• Applies judgment within defined parameters.
• Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects.
• Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy.
