Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an onsite Inventory Management professional to support Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The role involves coordinating stock, expediting orders with AGRs, and timely notification when items are unavailable.

Expect collaboration with government representatives and adherence to processing times for restocking. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in inventory or related roles within healthcare, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required or preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in inventory management, project management, supply technician, or data and administration in a healthcare setting, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

This position combines data analysis, with physical inventory management of customers various storerooms throughout Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory for stock sites
