Clean Harbors is seeking a Yellow Iron Mechanic to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for industrial processing equipment. The role emphasizes health & safety, with responsibilities covering conveyors, hydraulics, compressors, kilns, and boilers.

You will diagnose failures, perform repairs, fabricate parts, and ensure reliable operation at the facility. Requirements include a high school diploma, hydraulic system repair experience, and the ability to work overtime with a valid driver’s

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hydraulic system repair experience.
• Proficient with computers and systems.
• DOT Training.
• Background check and physical required.
• Respirator fit test required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Health and Safety as the top priority through policies and safe conduct.
• Maintain industrial equipment: conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical work, welding.
• Disassemble/reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair.
• Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed.
• Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and repair components.
• Monitor equipment to ensure repairs and testing lead to proper operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
