Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Maintenance Repair Technician in Utah to provide on-site maintenance and repairs for industrial processing equipment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and ability to work in a fully onsite environment with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing conveyors, kilns, boilers, hydraulic systems, and electrical components, plus fabrication and diagnostics to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hydraulic system repair experience preferred.
• Industrial maintenance experience required with heavy equipment (conveyors, compressors, kilns, boilers, electrical).
• Proficiency with computers and systems; able to work onsite only.
• Safety-focused with good communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial processing equipment (conveyors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical).
• Disassemble/reassemble facility equipment to inspect and repair.
• Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed.
• Identify causes of malfunctions and repair/replace defective components.
• Monitor equipment to verify repairs and testing for proper operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Industrial maintenance experience; conveyors, compressors hydraulic system, kiln, boilers, electrical, welding
• Disassemble/Reassemble facility equipment to examine or repair
• Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed
• Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)
• Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Hydraulic system repair experience
• Compressor, conveyors and other industrial processing equipment
• Industrial maintenance experience required
• Heavy equipment repair experience
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to use a cutting rig- welding
• Proficient with computers and systems
• Knowledge of the industry's latest technology or having experience working with electronics

• 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Valid Driver's License required
• Punctuality and attendance required
