Job summary

G-TECH Services LLC in Orange, TX, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support maintenance operations at a leading chemical manufacturing facility. This role focuses on developing detailed maintenance plans and work packages to ensure safe, efficient execution and minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years in industrial maintenance planning, hands-on experience with CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or Oracle, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or technical associate degree preferred but not required with hands-on maintenance experience.
2–5+ years of maintenance planning or related industrial maintenance experience.
Experience in heavy industrial environments (chemical, petrochemical, refinery, power generation).
Experience using CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Review maintenance work orders for completeness and accuracy.
Develop detailed maintenance job plans and work packages.
Estimate labor hours, crafts, materials, tools, equipment, and contractor needs.
Conduct field walk-downs to verify scope and planning requirements.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, engineering and reliability teams for execution.
Use CMMS/EAM systems to create and maintain maintenance plans and job packages.
Prepare complete job packages including labor, materials, permits, safety requirements, and procedures.
Ensure procedures include hazard assessments and safety compliance.
Create, revise, and update maintenance procedures, job plans, and checklists.
Incorporate technician feedback to improve planning processes.
Support Management of Change activities related to maintenance procedures.
