Job summary

Clean Harbors Aragonite, UT Incineration unit is seeking a Yellow Iron Mechanic to perform on-site maintenance and repairs on processing equipment. The role requires mechanical aptitude, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work in a fully onsite environment.

The ideal candidate has industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical systems, and welding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Industrial maintenance experience with conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical, welding is preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Proficiency with computers and systems.
• Onsite work only; no remote work.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety as a primary goal by following policies and procedures.
• Perform industrial maintenance on processing equipment: conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, kilns, boilers, electrical systems, welding.
• Disassemble and reassemble facility equipment to inspect and repair.
• Fabricate metal pieces and replace gaskets as needed.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and repair defective components.
• Monitor equipment and ensure repairs and testing result in proper operation.
• Other duties as assigned.
