Job summary

Clarios is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Lead for our Winston‑Salem, NC plant. You will lead health and safety initiatives, monitor IH programs, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The role is on site, five days a week, with quarterly travel to Tampa. Partner with EHS, HR and plant leadership to reduce exposures, develop ventilation/PPE strategies, perform quarterly testing, maintain records, and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial hygiene in manufacturing.
• Proficient knowledge of OSHA/ACGIH standards and related laws.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and industrial hygiene programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate industrial hygiene programs to resolve health risks in plant(s).
• Work with EHS Manager and teams to deploy solutions reducing exposures.
• Develop ventilation and PPE strategies to reduce health risks.
• Quarterly testing for ventilation, lead, air and noise levels.
• Oversee Clarios Management System incorporation of IH practices.
• Educate and train plant hourly and salary personnel in IH practices.
• Manage industrial hygiene records according to standards.
• Review operations to assure ongoing IH practices.
• Analyze data, summarize statistics, and prepare improvement reports.
