Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager for the Alamance Manufacturing Facility in Mebane, NC. This onsite role partners with plant leadership to drive process optimization, labor efficiency, capacity planning, and continuous improvement in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

You will lead a team of industrial engineers, develop labor standards, conduct time studies, and support launches and ramp-ups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/ manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience in automotive or Tier 1 supplier environments.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of Industrial Engineers and CI professionals.
• Sets departmental goals aligned with plant and corporate objectives.
• Manages workload prioritization and resource allocation across projects.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance management for engineering staff.
• Develops and maintains labor standards, production rates, and staffing models.
• Conducts time studies, work measurement analyses, and line balancing.
