Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an Area Manager for the Alamance Manufacturing Facility in Mebane, North Carolina. This fully onsite role will oversee day-to-day operations, define performance targets, and drive production, cost, and quality control across the area.

Responsibilities include staffing, development, and performance management of operations staff, along with coordinating with business, sales, and engineering teams to meet service levels and schedules. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a specified area at the Alamance Manufacturing Facility in Mebane, NC.
• Define, monitor, and be responsible for overall operations performance.
• Implement production, cost, and quality control mechanisms and oversee schedules and resources.
• Manage staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; supervise management team and develop staff.
• Manage relationships with business, sales, and engineering; define, deliver, and manage required service levels.
• Coordinate strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for the Alamance Manufacturing Facility.
• Resolve production scheduling problems by analyzing reports and coordinating with production control; develop solutions.
• Prepare production information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• All other duties as assigned.
