Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a direct hire in Buffalo, NY. This onsite role supports a manufacturing environment where equipment reliability and safety are essential.

The electrician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, controls, production machinery, and facility equipment. You'll read schematics, respond to breakdowns, and complete maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years as an electrician in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is a plus.
• Strong safety discipline and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and improve equipment reliability to reduce downtime.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns promptly and document maintenance work.
• Ensure safety, LOTO, PPE compliance and accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production needs.
