Power Drives, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Buffalo, NY, to maintain, upgrade and repair equipment and facilities. You will liaison with facilities contractors and support production with timely maintenance actions.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, adherence to safety policies, and collaboration with Operations to plan upgrades and installations. This on-site position requires strong technical and problem-solving skills and a readiness to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2 year Engineering/Technology degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of successful experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Manage PM system: enter equipment, create tasks, perform PM, close work orders.
• Coordinate with Operations on feasibility and costing for changes.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for materials and installation.
• Prioritize repairs and projects based on production needs.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with new equipment specs.
